NAACP Files Landmark Lawsuit Against MajorHome Mortgage Companies For Discriminatory Lending
Feazell & Tighe has been hired by the NAACP to bring a federal class action lawsuit against twelve of the country’s largest subprime mortgage lenders. The lawsuit alleges that these lenders are engaged in systematic, institutionalized racism in making high interest rate loans to African American borrowers even when they qualify for the lower rate loans given to their Caucasian counterparts.
